| In 2004 MC Gunner took control of the mic on the Black Hole truck at the FFWD Dance Parade in Rotterdam, this being his ever first experience as an MC, Gunner found his sanctuary. After this promising experience he started working his way up, joining his role models Marxman and Stretch. Ever since that day in Rotterdam MC Gunner is often seen at all the major Trance, Techno and Progressive parties. The list of DJ’s he worked with grows day by day, DJ’s like Armin van Buuren, Marco V, Kevin Saunderson, Cor Fijneman, Eddie Haliwell, Ton T.B. and Judge Jules all found their music to be supported by MC Gunner’s unique sound and creative style.
In his relatively short career MC Gunner hosted many festivals and clubs in Holland such as Dance Valley, Mysteryland, Trance Energy and many well known leading clubs such as The Matrixx, Powerzone, Panama and Escape.
Two years ago MC Gunner joined one of the biggest bookings agencies in Holland: Globaltwist Music. Managing artists like Mark Norman, Ronald Van Gelderen, Cor Fijneman and Ton T.B. Globaltwist Music is the right agency for MC Gunner to be found at. Gunner often joins them at their gigs around the world to hype things up even more. Nowadays MC Gunner can be found all around the world. In January 2008 he traveled to Timisoara in Romania where he hosted the new years Futuremask party. That night was a big night for Gunner because, apart of the DJ’s, he was one of the stars handing out even more autographs then his fellow artists. Later this the year more international performances will follow, among this are countries such as Russia, UK and Romania. After he hosted a few Black Hole Recordings label parties in the past he was asked to become the resident MC at the new and improved Black Hole Label Nights. He’ll travel around the world with all Black Hole DJ’s making the crowd go crazy and pay their ‘respect to the DJ’.
With his outstanding enthusiasm and his loud and clear voice he’s a perfect add to any party or festival. He knows, spot on, when to hype things up but also when it’s time to let the music do the talking. When Gunner takes control of the mic he’ll make you ‘respect the DJ and make some noise!’.
